Dr. Prakash G C is a 2006 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka Cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary,  Department of Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizen, Government of Karnataka.‍

‍Prior to this, he has served in different capacities across departments of Urban Development, Mysore Sales, Sugar Corporation, and Social Welfare.
