Engagement Highlights
- Provided recommendations for overhaul of policy design and structure of the Surakshini and Balangala govt. schemes.
- Conducted workshop to discuss and launch a new curriculum for Early Childhood Care and development for the state.
- Coordinated with the UNICEF team on the nutritional review of the 2 Aspirational districts in Karnataka.
- Proposed recommendations for starting a state-level survey for nutrition data and uniform delivery of the supplementary nutrition program.
An officer of Indian Administrative Service of the 2005 batch, Dr. M.T. Reju works in the Karnataka Government as Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens.
Prior to this, he served as Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), Managing Director (MD) of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan Directorate.
