Shri. Ritesh Kumar Singh is a 1996 batch IAS Officer of Karnataka Cadre and is currently serving as Principal Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Karnataka. He holds a Masters in Public Administration (International Development) from Harvard University, and a B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur.

Prior to this, he was placed as Senior Advisor to ED, World Bank, and has also served as Joint Secretaryin the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. He has also served across departments of Finance, Revenue, & Energy, to name a few.
