Shri Tejveer Singh is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre who is currently serving as the Principal Secretary, Department of Power with additional charge as Principal Secretary, Department of Governance Reforms & Public Grievances. He holds a bachelors & masters in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University as well as an MSc in Public Management & Governance from London School of Economics & Political Science.
He has previously served as Principal Secretary, Department of Investments & Promotion and Industries & Commerce, and Principal Secretary to CM amongst others. During his initial years in the service, he worked as Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, SAS Nagar (Mohali) and Amritsar.
He is interested in Public Policy and has also taught the discipline to civil servants during his tenure as Deputy Director and Joint Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.
