Smt. Jaspreet Talwar is currently serving as the Principal Secretary, School Education Department in the Government of Punjab. An officer of Indian Administrative Service of 1995 batch, she holds a masters degree in Public Management & Governance from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
Prior to this, she served as Secretary, Water Supply & Sanitation, Special Secretary, Finance and Secretary, Punjab State Electricity Board.
In her initial years in the service, she served as Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib.
